IDACO nyc ANNOUNCES the 2018 edition dates. the week event will happen at the Baruch Performing arts Center on May 24-25-26-27, 2018 with an opening evening at the Italian Cultural Institute on May 23rd, 2018. On May 21st and 22nd IDACO will propose site-specific performances around the city.

RENOVATED PARTNERSHIP in 2017

DACO and Mare Nostrum Elements (MNE) join forces in bringing young choreographers’ voices to New York City’s contemporary dance scene.

IDACO Artistic Director Vanessa Tamburi, has selected one choreographer from Mare Nostrum ElementsEmerging Choreographer Series to participate in IDACO nyc OFF section.The two Italian choreographers, Vanessa Tamburi (Artistic Director of IDACO) and Nicola Iervasi (Artistic Director of Mare Nostrum Elements) share the same desire to offer more opportunities for emerging artists to create and show their work in New York City.

 

RADIO NUOVA YORK has renovated the support to IDACO nyc 2017 as our MEDIA PARTNER.

we are strongly gratefull to Radio Nuova York to continue  the adventure to a new edition of the IDACO event !!!!!

We received a lot of applications, by far, this has been one of our most competitive process; each project was strong in idea and inventive in creation.
Selected companies will be notified by Friday Jan 8th.  We are looking forward to a great IDACO nyc 2016 edition!
