 IDACO nyc 2020 IS CANCELLED

DACO nyc is sorry to inform you that our 2020 festival (May 14 - 18, 2020) has been cancelled.

After monitoring and evaluating the current worldwide situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we decided to postpone the event to 2021.

Our sympathy and encouragement go to all people affected, wishing them a full recovery. We thank all the wonderful artists and dance companies who were selected this year for their passion and commitment to our work .

We wish you a healthy and creative year and hope to welcome you to another IDACO nyc festival next year!

IDACO nyc ANNOUNCES the 2018 edition dates. the week event will happen at the Baruch Performing arts Center on May 24-25-26-27, 2018 with an opening evening at the Italian Cultural Institute on May 23rd, 2018. On May 21st and 22nd IDACO will propose site-specific performances around the city.

DACO and Mare Nostrum Elements (MNE) join forces in bringing young choreographers’ voices to New York City’s contemporary dance scene.

IDACO Artistic Director Vanessa Tamburi, has selected one choreographer from Mare Nostrum Elements’ Emerging Choreographer Series to participate in IDACO nyc OFF section.The two Italian choreographers, Vanessa Tamburi (Artistic Director of IDACO) and Nicola Iervasi (Artistic Director of Mare Nostrum Elements) share the same desire to offer more opportunities for emerging artists to create and show their work in New York City.

RADIO NUOVA YORK has renovated the support to IDACO nyc 2017 as our MEDIA PARTNER.
